RAVE request from security
Everyone,
Now is the time to review
your RAVE information to make sure your phone numbers are correct. Remember:
the college is open unless you receive a RAVE message stating the college
is closed or the WCJC webpage indicates the college is closed. Also take
the time to discuss with your supervisor what plans are in place.
Faculty:
Take the time on the first
day of class to remind your students about classroom safety (Active Shooter,
fire escape, and severe weather) and to log into RAVE, which is the official
WCJC Emergency Notification System.
The students are deleted from the RAVE system
at the end of each semester and must update their information at the beginning
of each semester. When they log in, they can add their personal cell phone,
other contact numbers, or other email addresses. The link is https://www.getrave.com/login/wcjc
. This link is also on the Security
Home page under Emergency Alert Service; this link can be accessed anytime to
update their personal contacts.
Staff:

important to enter your personal contacts so you can receive emergency messages
from the College.
