I also wanted to request your
permission to use what I have named "The Bibus Method" in an English
paper I am writing on effective study and learning strategies. To be more
specific, that youtube video that you posted on how
to read actively, write notes in our own words in the margin, and teach our
imaginary cousin the material. It has been the most effective strategy I
have ever learned to read actively and actually synthesize and retain the words
I am reading. I would really like to include that in my paper, if it is alright with you. I feel very blessed to have had you
in my first semester of college. In high school I
never needed to read or study and now that I do need to in order to be
successful in my college learning experience, I have very little doubt that I
would not be a very successful student without you introducing this method to
me. Thanks for everything!
