  4. Before the DUE date, submit the file using the Turnitin that is in this folder.
  5. I will read your plan and—if I am concerned about your success—I will enter a 1.11 (a temporary placeholder) for the grade and add a Comment next to this grade asking you to talk to me ASAP or I will tell you what to fix.

5.     Write the word Yes or No in the___ to the left of EACH of the statements to confirm you understand them—or ask questions.

___

With the History Department’s required 25% for written work, you must do some written assignments. If you only attempt objective assignments, you would have to make an absolutely perfect score each time for grade of C. Click here to see examples of the math .

___

On the other hand, if you follow the 5 Good Habits for Evidence, you can make a decent grade even if you are not skilled or comfortable with writing. Click here for an example of the math of how the Good Habits for Evidence can help you make a higher grade.

___

Do you know any job that pays well that doesn’t require these habits or any decision you could make safely without these habits? If you think you do, try this link.  What did my past students say they did not know before about the Good Habits for Evidence?

The 5 Good Habits for Evidence are:
1. Reliable Sources Only

2: Factual Accuracy That You Verify with the Reliable Source Before You Write

3: Factual Accuracy That Is Verifiable for Every Statement You Make

4: No “Half-Copy” Plagiarism or “Patchwriting”

5: Quotation Changes Revealed Clearly

6.        If there is something you would like for me to know about you, please write it below.
